Under-sea Ambience

Library (No Effects):
Recorded in Republic Polytechnic’s Library using the tiny microphone on a MacBook:

Library (With Effects):
Audio effects such as reverb, echo, delay, phaser, distortion and equalisation were added to the same track. The result – a near underwater sounding ambience causing the team to strongly believe that an underwater recording is no longer necessary:

Sound Test #1:
Our very first sound test as heard on May 21, 2008 during the Mid-point Presentation. Using the same manipulated library audio sample we decided to add some dolphin audio samples we found and also our very own foley recording of the metal rods:

Sound Test #1 (Improved):
Listen to Sound Test #1 and then this. Notice the difference. Hi and low passes have been added to the dolphin clicks and whistles. Unfortunately, you will not be able to hear the audio panning:

Motor Boat

The next three are samples of boat sound with the perception of being underwater, as in the receiver is in the water. All three are the same clip; the first is the original, subsequent two are manipulated.
