Agenda:
- confirm how much time we have (is there enough to build the “maze”)
- consider alternatives; may not build the “maze” after all
- use a room, make it like an exhibition
- budget quite hard to calculate at this point
- important to find the space to do project (space will act as canvas to build ideas)
- need to come up with a concrete purpose/message of the piece (having a room with speakers and visuals may not be enough)
- are we going to make it vintage/furistic/save the world thing (present earth dying; recycle) – what’s the message behind it?

Proposal Draft:
“This project is an installation art work aims to highlight the peril our planet earth is facing today. It intends to bring the audience into an emotion journey to experience the severity of the issue as mentioned.
The installation will lead audiences through a series of different stations, each of them focusing on a different aspect of natural disasters the earth faces. It attempts to create a cohesive experience that is educational and emotional evoking to make known its global message by designing an original acoustic environment to enhance how the audience will perceive the sound sources. These sound sources will include live sound, environment sounds, samples from field recordings, synthesized sounds, and digitally manipulated sound clips.

Creative Objectives:
- to create a unique sonic experience that is emotional evoking and challenges people’s perception (give them exposure) on how sound can be used/manipulated in a created environment (surround sound)
Creative Process:
- a hybrid project that involves music composition (environment sounds, human sounds, natural sounds, found sounds, etc.),
- using various instruments (playback devices, real instruments, etc.) to add richness to the aural experience
- acoustic design (using space and various sound sources to enhance the musical composition; creating a soundscape), and
- screen sound (include the use of visuals as a secondary element to enforce the sonic experience)
