Time is running out, we are a month behind schedule, and we still have $0 in our funds.
Here are a few things that are at top priority for the following weeks to come:
1) Field Recording Session — Next Week Wednesday
- book out equipments next tuesday (Melvin)
- buy condoms (Ryan)
- go to beach to record ambient sea sounds (exact location to be confirmed)
- try to record motorboat sounds
- try using the condom method to record underwater
2) Preparation for Mid-point Presentation (21 May)
- we have less than 3 weeks to prepare for this one
- Outline of the contents for presentation: Sam and Ryan
Quick Updates:
- we might end up trying the 5.1 x 2 surround sound method
(as suggested in Ryan’s mail)
- trial news dialogue recording started in Whisper Room
(Wenxun, Melvin, and Jon)
- we have very good news from NUS Marine Mammal Research Lab
(Melvin will update more)
- construction of space or rental of black box (on hold)
- now just focus on recording and composition

Compile a list of dolphin behaviors and get mp3s for sound clips: Ryan and Sam
