Trial Voice-over Recording Session 1
July 17, 2008Date: Late June 2008
Time: Early Afternoon
Venue: Vista B with whisper room
Members: Samantha, Jonathan & Melvin
We try to do some trial voice over recording with Sam japanese dialogues script and recorded sam’s voice but put it into garageband, one the presets to change into male voice.
It doesn’t sound natural and not suitable therefore we need look for a real authentic asian guy who can speak fluent japanese. At the same time we also modified the dialogues slightly too.

Meeting Minutes #19 (Part 1)
June 19, 2008Post Production: Underwater Layers

Today’s session in the Vista Lab also marked the 19th meeting of the project.
We listened to the field recordings clips, added effects to them, listened, tried different effects, used different clips, and discussed what was lacking and what was not necessary; what could be done to create a more fluid underwater-like effect.
So far, we’ve been experimenting with different audio effects using different software and audio samples. Over the next couple of days we will be working very closely to put these different “layers” of sound together, beginning from the bottom (sea ambience) a layer at a time. And when that is finally done, we will work towards the 5.1 surround playback.
Exhibition: Updates On the Hanger Station
At the moment we intend to leave our options open. But we have decided to go for a more abstract depiction of the hanger slaughter scene rather than a realistic environment. Considerations:
- Now that we are not doing realistic environment, is this station still necessary?
- How will it affect the ‘News” station before it?
- To include a market scene?
- Visuals or not?
- Make it dolphin point of view
Exhibition: Miscellaneous
- Refreshments
- Advertising

lousy quality (amr). cant even open with audition. (almost useless)
also, if u guys hear any interesting sounds which could be used in any part of our installation, it would be good to record it using anything u have and just up it here. the rest of us will den be able to play with it and try to come up with something. TQTQTQ!
