About Us

Our team consists of five final year students from the Diploma in Sonic Arts, at the School of Technology for the Arts, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore (for more information please visit: www.rp.sg/courses/technologyarts/dsa). Apart from applying any relevant technical knowledge and expertise learnt throughout the course of our diploma, we intend to use this project as a platform to explore and expand the possibilities of sonically reconstructing a real life environment whilst adapting it into a sound installation piece that is both evocative and coherent .

As much as this project requires a considerable amount of technicalities, our main focus is still to “amplify” the voice of the dolphins to a larger community, especially here in Singapore where many are unaware of such an event. This is why we chose to do a sound installation – it is going to be a unique encounter that can only be experienced while the exhibition space is up.
